NCT WISH Tops Ktown4u Weekly Chart with Second Mini Album 'poppop'

(MHN Reporter Lee Yunbi) NCT WISH is riding high on the momentum of their comeback, clinching the No. 1 spot on the Ktown4u weekly album sales chart.
According to data released by global fan-based entertainment platform Ktown4u, NCT WISH’s second mini album 'poppop' sold 35,414 copies between April 7 and 13, securing the group the top position on the chart.

The group made their highly anticipated comeback on April 14 with 'poppop', an album that captures the tender and awkward feelings of first love.
Through its tracks, the album portrays the emotional whirlwind of discovering love for the first time—everything feels new, exciting, and slightly clumsy.
The title track, also named 'poppop', is a vibrant dance-pop song laced with bouncy melodies and a refreshing vibe. A rich combination of bell tones, lead synths, heavy bass lines, and dynamic percussion creates an energetic soundscape that keeps listeners engaged from start to finish.
Lyrically, the song paints a vivid picture of love-at-first-sight—a world that suddenly bursts into color like a scene from an animated film. Even the most familiar streets and sights take on new meaning in the glow of budding romance.
NCT WISH is a multinational boy group under SM Entertainment, composed of Korean members Sion and Jaehui, along with Japanese members Riku, Ryo, Yushi, and Sakuya.
