(MHN Intern Reporter Yoon Se-ho) The “Mega Stage,” a performance program offering rising artists the chance to perform, continues to gain attention from fans as it successfully hosts event after event.

 

On April 12 at Megabox COEX in Seoul, the 10th Mega Stage featured a fan showcase by NINE.i member VAHN and an open stage performance by singer Choi Soo-hwan.

 

In Part 1, VAHN showcased his producer talents with a 5-song set including “Crush On You” and “Sucker For You.” During the stage, fellow NINE.i member JIHO made a surprise appearance.

 

After the performance, VAHN shared, “It’s been a while since I performed in Korea. I’m truly thankful to all the fans who showed up beyond expectations.”

Part 2 followed with a busking-style performance by Choi Soo-hwan. Known for his 2019 appearance on Mnet’s Produce X 101 and later as a finalist on Build Up, Choi debuted as a solo artist in 2020.

 

His recently released single, “Stars Take Me,” captures the brilliance of time spent with a loved one and the longing to meet them again. He performed a total of 8 songs including this title track.

 

This event was part of the “Mega Stage” booster-up program that highlights the individuality and emotion of new artists every Saturday. The program is jointly organized by CTD Entertainment and Ktown4u, in cooperation with Megabox.

 

Coming up on April 19, the 11th Mega Stage will feature singer-songwriter Onwoojoo’s open stage and a pre-debut performance by CTD Rookies.
